About the Author
Davina Bolinsky grew up in Southern Arizona, where her love of books and storytelling began early and never left her. After high school, she joined the United States Marine Corps and later served as a correctional officer and police officer. These roles demanded discipline, resilience, and a sharp understanding of human nature.
She went on to earn both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA, experiences that broadened her perspective and deepened her commitment to lifelong learning. They also strengthened her focus on exploring the complexities of identity, ambition, and belonging. Davina approaches her craft with both personal intensity and intellectual curiosity. Her stories are richly imagined yet grounded in lived experience, blending ceremonial traditions, power structures, and heartfelt romance.
Her work often features strong female leads and LGBT representation, reflecting her belief that love and authenticity can transform even the most rigid worlds. Through fantasy romance, she offers readers new perspectives on destiny, choice, and empowerment, inviting them to see echoes of their own lives in the struggles and triumphs of her characters. Passionate about humor, success, and connection, Davina writes with a clear point of view and a deep commitment to empowering readers to see themselves and others through new lenses.
